It’s a team sport.

Communications is, and always will be, a people business, so building strong agency/client teams is a must. It’s not rocket-science, but it does take commitment. We do it by starting with a culture that builds pride in our collective output without building inflated egos. We engage in respectful critique and debate that makes ideas better and protects against group think. And we run through walls for the work, for our clients and for each other.

Fear of needles: yes. Fear of complexity: no.

Our goal is to build elegant strategies and execute flawless tactics regardless of the complexity. In fact, we think we’re at our best when things are more complex. We find our way through the complications by mining insights from primary sources of knowledge, like the pediatric interventional surgeon using biplane fluoroscopy or the hospital HR director needing to fill 50 nursing positions. We’re eager to test hypotheses, synthesize ideas, learn about and sort through countless evolving tactical options, and hold ourselves accountable through measurement.

What matters more than Health?

Of course the answer to this question is clear and is at the heart of our purpose. We believe in making brands fitter so they can compete harder and more successfully, doing the most good for the most amount of people. In all our collective experience helping brands in innumerable categories, nothing compares to the impact or satisfaction we feel from our work in health. Long may it last.
